3DReid has worked with Village Hotels for over 10 years designing a new architectural model, in tandem with redeveloping the interior design concepts for Village existing portfolio of 33 properties, across the UK.
The new design has been developed to facilitate the same level of offer, within a more compact envelope, thereby allowing accommodation of the building on smaller sites. The guest accommodation has been conceived to enable containerised delivery, should this construction methodology prove preferable, in the future.
3DReid’s interiors team worked closely with the client to maximise the internal layout. The interiors offer all the style, comfort and facilities expected in a Village Hotel on a more compact footprint including vibrant guestrooms, casual dining spaces and restaurant, Village V Works and Village Health and Wellness suite with pool, gym and fitness studios.
Our interiors team created V Works which moves away from the outdated concept of corporate needs, to a technologically state of the art, flexible hub spaces.
V Works offers bookable rooms and coworking spaces with flexible desks, fixed desks, hot desking, superfast wifi, private meeting pods and break out areas to meet, collaborate and socialise.
The guestrooms are comfortable, informal and vibrant spaces in a neat 15sqm of floor space. By using four very distinct colour-ways throughout, the vibrant wall coverings provide a focal point with pops of colour on doors, bedside units and subtle colour detailing on edgings to beds, desks and mirror surrounds.
