The refurbishment of Derbion Food Terrace was fitted out with new flooring, lighting, furniture and soft furnishings.
Derbion invested more than £2 million into the F&B spaces at the Derbion Shopping Centre, with a new look, new brands and increased capacity. The new Food Terrace investment has increased seating capacity from around 650 to 800 which allowed new brands to be introduced since the revamp.
During refurbishment the food terrace remained open, with minimal impact on customers, as part of the major refurbishment and the Masterplan for the area.
Our team worked collaboratively with Furniture Fusion who supplied furniture for the new food terrace and gave us the opportunity to supply some of their most popular chairs, low stools and bar stools alongside creating bespoke furniture.
Techna bar stools sit around one of Furniture Fusion’s bespoke pieces – these stools are a versatile and practical choice for any hospitality venue. The powder-coated aluminium frame is matched to RAL5000 and finished with upholstery in Sekers Capella – a very hard-wearing faux leather that looks smart and will withstand heavy use.
The Ivy side chair is upholstered in charcoal-grey Panaz Delph – a hard-wearing woven fabric that looks great alongside our marble laminated-topped tables.
The Biba side chair was a key piece for this project – a sleek, contemporary design that’s stackable and works well in any commercial setting. Three different versions are used – two upholstered in Panaz leather with a RAL-matched lacquer finish on the beech frame, and another solid beech chair stained to aniline white.
“The refurbishment has enabled us to extend our seating area to welcome even more visitors to our revamped Food Terrace to enjoy a breadth of choice in a contemporary, welcoming environment.”
