We are thrilled to have won three Revo Gold Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel in London last night.
At a glittering awards dinner, three of our projects won Gold Awards:
- Primark Birmingham in the Re:purpose category
- intu Lakeside Leisure in the Re:lax category
To add to this success, we were awarded a further Gold Award as the ‘Best of the Best’ for:
- Primark Birmingham in the Re:turn category
By association we also worked as part of the delivery team for the Gold Award winning
- intu Watford in the Re:new category
Congratulations to all the teams who worked on these projects and our clients intu and Primark for continuing to support and foster great architecture.
Primark Birmingham ‘Gold Award Winner’ in the Re:purpose category and further ‘Gold Award Winner’ as the ‘Best of Best’ in the Re:turn category.
The redevelopment beat five contenders in the Re:purpose category at this year’s Gold Awards. The opening of Primark’s flagship at No 38 High Street, the retailer’s largest development in the UK to date, provides an enhanced customer experience across 160,000 sqft of retail space.
Primark commissioned 3DReid to develop proposals to transform the former Pavilions shopping centre into a retail flagship. Productive dialogue with the Planning authority identified the opportunity to re-shape the inward-facing centre to create a landmark development which re-activates once dead frontages, re-vitalises the High Street by connecting it to a new retail circuit alongside the Bullring and Grand Central and delivers a new pedestrian route through the block, linking High Street and Moor Street, in the tradition of the many Victorian arcades that cross Birmingham City Centre.
