3DReid entered two teams for JLL’s popular Property Triathlon in Manchester’s MediaCity, with participants braving the usual fare for a British Northern summer’s day: rain and wind.
Our intrepid competitors battled it out in mixed relay and individual pursuits with a 750m swim; 18km bike ride and 5km run against 443 other entrants.
The London studio Mixed Relay Team were hugely impressive with an overall 7th position out of 69 teams, thanks to Gregorio who exited the water in 4th place. His performance was built on by Susan who was the 4th fastest female on the bike and John in the run. The Manchester studio, consisting of Simon (swim); Nab (bike) and Paul (run) managed a respectable 58th out of 98 teams in their Male Team category.
Respect of the day however goes to our lithe Chairman, Charles who shone in the 50+ Male category, who not only completed all three pursuits, but also was the second fastest runner in his category, achieving a superb 6th place for the veterans.
