The project – located on the site of the former Black Horse public house – comprises of 38 residential apartments over commercial premises at ground floor and offers a significant opportunity to regenerate and revitalise a tired high street.
Designed to read as two separate volumes, the building composition is enhanced with a combination of red and grey brick with a recessed fifth storey and central entranceway.
A sedum roof and photovoltaic panels are proposed at roof level.
The Application was voted 11-0 to support the recommendation to grant planning permission.
